As you can see, the roads were just wet. Some of the area secondary roads (like the one I live on), though, did ice over once the temperature dropped. And it was a mess driving on that road the next day. But in spite of that, it was certainly a nice treat. We certainly don't get snow much around here, so it's always beautiful when we do.
Well...except for the 4-foot blizzard of '93. It was beautiful, but you can only stand to be without power and cooped up in the house for so long. :o)

Hey, you got more snow where you live! Of course, we live further SOUTH. :-)
I'm dying to see some picture of the Super Saturday. It sounds like it was great! I would have loved to have been here for it. But I guess you can't be everywhere at once.
And all this time you've been calling yourself a Northerner! lol Actually, these pictures were taken at HQ. I didn't get any from the house, but I´m sure things would have looked about the same.
