Well Hello There!

Greetings to all!

I can't seem to remember to bring the SD card with the Super Bowl Saturday pictures on it. Perhaps SOMEDAY...but in the meantime, I just heard a few moments ago that the schools dismissed early because of the high winds (20 mph) and rain (if you count sprinkling as rain) that we are experiencing at the moment. Now, I did hear in the forecast this morning that we could have thunderstorms today. And they could surely come. But I have NEVER heard of dismissing school for the possibility of thunderstorms. Have you?

Then again, I realize SOME of you feel we should have school with five feet of snow on the ground and sub-zero temps. But that's neither here nor there. :o)

The HQ building project seems to be moving along nicely. Praise the Lord! There is now a sidewalk all the way around the building, and concrete steps with side railing into the front entrance. It looks absolutely beautiful. What a day of rejoicing that will be when everything is completed!

Last Saturday was the Western Tennessee District Convention, which was very good! Each state auxiliary coordinator/booster gave a powerful boost, and Brother Smith preached a good message about unity. No doubt, one we need desperately to hear. Then, we had good fellowship and food prepared by the members of the Antioch church. I think I arrived home around 7:30 pm. Of course, I enjoyed the drive to Antioch (Nashville Metro Area), since I'm absolutely in love with the Nashville area. I always said if I knew I weren't called here to Cleveland, I would be there in a heartbeat. But a gal can visit, right? :o)

Well that's all the tidings from here for now. Have great midweek services, and I'll be in touch again soon.
