Preparing for Another Busy Saturday

Perhaps not busy by the standards of many.

BUT...

Tomorrow, our state VLB Booster has planned a state-wide youth activity called Super Bowl Saturday. In reality, it has nothing to do with the actual Super Bowl, other than it's the same weekend. It's actually a way to boost and be excited about Reaching the Nations through Publications (aka - "The Printer Project"). Our Booster issued a challenge to all the local churches for each gleaner and VLB to raise $25, $50, or $100 each. $25 represents a safety, $50 a field goal, and $100 a touchdown. There will be food, games, and "Coaches Meetings," followed by an evening VLB service. It's going to be a lot of fun. What I really appreciate about our Booster is that she is able to gear our youth activities toward all ages, and there's just no way for anyone to feel left out.

So we'll be hitting the happy trail around 12 p.m. our time - MUCH better than the 7 a.m. when we attended the Alabama/Tennessee music workshop! So at the very least, I will be able to sleep in...a little.

I'll take my camera and try to get a few shots, and will tell you all about it sometime next week. Have a great day and weekend!

Wow! What a neat idea! Can't wait to hear all about it and see some pictures. (Hint, hint, hint!) ;-)
